Coquitlam, BC – The Coquitlam Express are thrilled to announce the commitment of 2004-born, Deerfield Academy product, Drew Garzone.
“When I watched Drew one of the first things I noticed was his speed, being able to outskate guys and make plays happen,” commented Express general manager Tali Campbell “As we continue to build a team to compete for the Fred Page Cup next season Drew is someone that will be able to assist us with his talents on the ice and his leadership skills off the ice.”
The six-foot, 185lb center chalked up five goals and nine helpers in 21 games with the Deerfield Academy and is committed to Princeton University.
“I chose the Express because I feel that it is an amazing place to develop my game and prepare myself for college hockey. I feel like my speed will translate well to the BCHL and I bring energy every single shift,” noted Garzone.
