Coquitlam Express Hockey Club Announces Arena Contract Extension
The Coquitlam Express Hockey Club is thrilled to announce the extension of its arena contract with the City of Coquitlam for an additional five years, securing the team’s home at the Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex through 2029. This agreement underscores the club’s long-term commitment to the community and its fans.
Fayaz Manji, Governor & President of the Coquitlam Express, stated:
“The lease extension with the City of Coquitlam represents more than just an agreement to us. It represents a firm commitment to our fans, our players, and the entire Coquitlam community. The Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex has been our home and heart for many years, and we’re proud to be here for many more years. We’re also excited to continue providing a high level hockey experience to the players and fans.. Our goal has always been to create a vibrant and welcoming environment where memories are made, both on and off the ice.”
