After 13 seasons with the Express Darcy Rota has made the decision to move on. It is a big loss to the Express Family and we wish Darcy all the best in everything that comes his way.
Darcy was instrumental in bringing the Express to fruition and has seen the team through it’s inauguration, the transition to Burnaby and back to Coquitlam while the new facility was being built, 2 BCHL Championships, 1 Western Championship, and 1 National Championship. Darcy has helped to make dreams possible for so many young hockey players over the years and always maintained a strict open door policy for all of the players and staff. Darcy helped to make this team much more than just a team; it was and always will be a family because of his legacy.
Thank you Darcy for everything you have done for the Express over the years! You will be greatly missed!
